Join us for a delightful journey through a Victorian winter wonderland. Enjoy live performances, festive parades, and a bustling holiday market featuring unique crafts and delicious treats. Perfect for families and friends, this event captures the essence of the holiday season with a touch of Dickensian charm.
Retailers and restaurants will highlight their holiday goods and dazzle town visitors with their holiday spirit. Discover unique gifts and handmade treasures from talented local artisans at the Holiday Market and savor holiday-inspired menus, cocktails, hot cocoa, and eggnog at Callicoon’s exceptional restaurants, bars, and pubs.
Festivities kick off at noon with caroling by the Sullivan West Select Choir on the Callicoon Depot Stage, followed by a full day of live music and theatre performances!
Have your picture taken with the Buck Brook Alpacas or Father Chrismas or enjoy a FREE Wreath-Making, Kid’s Holiday Crafting or Gingerbread Decorating Workshop!

Opening Ceremony w/ the Sullivan West High School Select Choir
Kick off the festivities at noon with the Sullivan West High School Select Choir singing beloved Carols at the Callicoon Depot.

River Rep Theatre's 'NeverEnding Story'
River Rep Theatre will be sharing a ‘sneak-peak’ scene from the beloved children’s fantasy novel The NeverEnding Story at Dickens on the Delaware. The NeverEnding Story follows a lonely young boy with a love of books who becomes drawn into a timeless world of fabulous creatures — a world that only he can save from certain destruction. Adapted for the stage by David S. Craig, The NeverEnding Story will open River Rep’s 2025 season. Directed by Christopher Peditto and featuring Arthur Aulisi, Thomas Cambridge, Matt Carpenter, Ellie J and Jim Sullivan, with costumes by Ragtime Clothing Exchange in Downtown Callicoon.

Enjoy the beautuful voices of our local Girl Scouts, singing hoilday classics throughout the streets of Callicoon and visiting our local shops and Restaurants.

Farm Arts Collective's 'Fezziwig's Party'
Join Farm Arts Collective at ‘Fezziwig’s Party’ for an immersive theatre experience. Characters will come to life and the audience is invited to join in the festivities, listen, and play along!
A long table is set – laden with turkey and other foods. The Fezziwigs are hosting a Christmas party! A host of characters from a wide range of Dickens’ books arrive one by one: Scrooge, Uriah Heap, Mrs. Havisham, Fagan, Mrs. Jellyby, Ghosts and a spiritualist named Clair St. Clair –as the guests arrive, dances, songs, toasts, and arguments erupt throughout the party culminating in the arrival of Dickens himself with a stack of novels.

As the sun sets, singers from the Delaware Valley Opera and our local musician community will fill the streets with carols and visit our wonderful restaurants, bars and pubs to serenade patrons with holiday favorites.

Gingerbread Cookie Decorating at The Western Sullivan Public Library - Delaware Free Branch.
All are welcome at the Delaware Free Branch to decorate Gingerbread Cookies from Be Kind Bakehouse! Decorating starts at 12pm, and will go until 3pm or while supplies last. Registration is not required.

Horse & Buggy Rides
Enjoy FREE Horse & Buggy Rides through the historic streets of Callicoon in a vintage buggy pulled by Belgian Plow Horses. The line forms on Audrey Dorrer Drive, just behind Peppino’s Family Restaurant. One ride per family, please. Sponsored by the Callicoon Farmer’s Market & Callicoon Business Association.
